Give us the details and we will look up what your vehicle is doing at auction this week, then call you with a number. You are welcome to take that number somewhere else — plenty of people do.

What moves the number

Tires and brakes: The two things we check first, and the two most people forget about. A set of tires is several hundred dollars off the figure.
Service history: Bring what you have. A folder of receipts genuinely raises what we can offer, because it lowers what we have to guess at.
Two keys: A second key is worth more than people expect. Replacements for modern vehicles are not cheap.
Warning lights: Tell us about them rather than hoping we miss them. We would rather quote you honestly than revise the figure when you arrive.

Estimates are based on the information you provide and on current wholesale values, which move week to week. A firm offer requires an in-person inspection and sight of the title. If there is finance outstanding, the payoff amount is confirmed with your lender before anything is agreed.
